Michel vom Rosennest was bred in Germany (Collies vom
Rosennest, B.Corte) from American lines, which have been
imported to Germany a longer time ago and brought together
with German bloodlines and later refined by Michel`s
Grandsire US-Imp. Velvet Brae Louis XIV. So Michel has
81,25% American bloodlines.
We adopted him at the age of about 4 months, and he felt at
home right away. We especially appreciate his
self-confidence and the fact, that he is not scared of
anything.
Michel liked obedience-training right from the start, and
so we tried agility as well; meanwhile he has become a very
successful competitor! He also shows his athletic side in
taking part in long-distance horse-riding and
bicycle-riding.
Michel has a beautiful mahogany-coloured dark-sable coat
with a full white collar and four white feet. Remarkable
are his naturally-tipped ears.
In January 2008 he got the admission for breeding in the
VDH/FCI; up to now he has sired several beautiful and
sportive litters.
