How can I possibly describe Nelson in just a few
words... He is a lot of DOG: Very lively, always happy and
ready for some action, there's never a dull moment around
him. He's alert and bright and fun to train, has a strong
play drive and lots and lots of energy, a little too much
at times. You might say his "off-button" isn't always
working properly. Nelson is very outgoing and friendly, he
just loves people and shows it in a very extrovert manner,
jumping them with all of his 30 kilos strong body, barking
happily at them. I rarely see him spooked or afraid; he's
always on top of the world. Nelson is being trained in
field work (rescue) and obedience.
But he is also able to relax, enjoying a comfortable nap
curled up in the crook of my arm, sometimes watching TV and
cocking his head when he recognizes an animal shape,
listening intently to all the interesting noises coming
from it.
